Our impact

Creating a generation of women who are informed, confident and intentional about their lives.

Because when a woman thrives, everyone around her feels the difference.

Why it matters

At HerWell Africa, we believe that when a woman is informed, supported and empowered, the impact goes far beyond her. It reaches her relationships, her family, her workplace, her community and the generations that come after her.

Our goal is to create spaces where women can access the knowledge, conversations, experts and support they need to make better decisions about their health, relationships, finances, personal growth and purpose.

Why it matters

The change we want to see

Women who understand their bodies

More women who understand their bodies and the stages of women’s health, from reproductive health and hormonal changes to perimenopause, menopause and healthy ageing. Fear, confusion and misinformation replaced with knowledge and informed choices.

Women who take charge of their wellbeing

Women who move from reacting to health challenges to being proactive about their physical, emotional and mental wellbeing, so that self-care is a normal and necessary part of life, not something considered only when exhausted or unwell.

Healthier relationships

Women with healthier relationships with themselves and with others. Honest conversations around love, marriage, friendships, boundaries, communication, intimacy and emotional wellbeing, so that relationships are respectful, healthy and fulfilling.

Financially confident women

A woman’s wellbeing is also shaped by her financial security. Financial awareness, independence and confidence, and the conversations around money that are so often avoided, so more women understand their finances and build economic security.

Young women intentional about who they are becoming

Reaching women early, before major life transitions force difficult conversations. A space to explore identity, health, relationships, career, money, confidence and purpose. We do not want young women simply to prepare for life; we want them equipped to shape it.

Women who navigate transitions with confidence

Marriage. Motherhood. Career changes. Divorce. Empty nest. Perimenopause. Menopause. Starting over. Every woman will experience transitions; HerWell is a trusted space for information, community and practical support through each season.

A culture where women talk about what really matters

Some of the most important issues affecting women are rarely discussed openly. A culture where a woman can say “I have a question”, “I do not understand what is happening to me”, “I need help”, “I am struggling”, “I want more for myself”, and know there is a safe, respectful space to begin.

Our long-term vision

Our ambition is to build a growing community of women across Africa who are healthier, more informed, more financially confident, more emotionally resilient, better connected, more intentional, and empowered to live with purpose.

We want HerWell Africa to become more than an events platform: a community, education and support ecosystem for women, connecting them with trusted experts, relevant resources and each other.

Because when a woman thrives, everyone around her feels the difference.

Why this matters in Kenya

In August 2025 Kenya held its first National Menopause Conference in Nairobi, co-organised by ICRW Africa and the Reproductive Health Network Kenya, feeding into a national menopause policy white paper; the Ministry of Health called menopause a neglected public-health issue. A WhatsApp support group on the subject, Ova Circle, reached 2,000 members in eight weeks. Business Daily has reported on what many Kenyan women are not prepared for.

These are other people’s achievements, cited so you can check them. They are also the reason HerWell exists: the demand is proven; the rooms are not there yet, and outside Nairobi they barely exist at all.
